The Library at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya, Nagpur serves as the academic heart of the institution, providing students and faculty with a rich collection of over 44,000 books, reference materials, journals, periodicals, and digital resources to support learning, teaching, and research. Designed to offer a peaceful and resourceful learning environment, the library features dedicated reading spaces and access to modern information services that encourage self-study, critical thinking, and lifelong learning. It plays a vital role in fostering academic excellence by ensuring that quality knowledge resources are readily available to every learner.

Sports and GYM
Sports and other Activities
- State-of-the-art sports facilities, sufficient material to facilitate sports activities [cricket, football, badminton, hockey, volleyball, basketball, ball badminton, handball, throw ball, softball, baseball, table tennis, gymnastics, athletics, kabaddi, kho-kho, chess etc.]
- Indoor Sports Multipurpose Gymnasium Hall with boxing arenas, Kabaddi lobby area , wrestling area and other similar recreational facilities where college students and athletes can engage in physical exercises for participate in respected competitions.
- Gymnasium hall also provides facilities for specialized exercises for weight training and explosive weight trainings with required dumbles and jumping Boxes.
- Outdoor games such as Cricket, Football, handball, Rugby and basketball courts are used of Ishwar Deshmukh college of Physical education with Memorandum of Understanding.
- We also provide the most important equipment for a Cross Fit gym wich are: barbells, dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, pull-up bars, and plyometrics boxes which are essential for Cross Fit workouts

Cafeteria
The cafeteria at Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya provides a clean, comfortable, and welcoming space where students can relax, refresh, and connect with friends. Serving hygienic and affordable meals, snacks, and beverages, it offers a pleasant environment that encourages interaction, recreation, and a healthy campus lifestyle between classes.
Hostel
Kamla Nehru Mahavidyalaya offers a safe, secure, and student-friendly hostel facility designed to provide a comfortable home away from home.
Our Institution has two hostels
- Kamla Nehru Girls’ Hostel – This hostel has twenty rooms and the capacity for fifty girls. Ten rooms are double and ten rooms are triple seated. At present the occupancy is fifty one.
- Priyadarshini Girls’ Hostel – This hostel has nine rooms and can accommodate thirty nine girls. Three rooms have the capacity for five girls each and six rooms have the capacity for four girls each. At present this hostel has forty two girls.
Security
Complete security has been provided. Security guards are available at the gate, round the clock. Warden’s permission is mandatory to meet the hostellers. The in-mates are not allowed to move outside after 7.00 p.m.
Recreational facilities
The hostels have common rooms equipped with the recreational facilities. T.V. Set, Newspapers / Magazines, and Telephone have been provided.
Sports and Games
For indoor games, carom and chess are available. A makeshift arrangement for badminton is also available in the premises of Kamla Nehru Girls’ Hostel.
Health and Hygiene
The health and hygiene of the hostel in-mates are a prime concern. Proper care is taken. A qualified doctor visits twice a week. Wanjari Nursing Home provides its services in emergency including Ambulance and Nurse.
